Lord Plumb FRAgS Sadly Passed Away at 97
Charles Henry Plumb, Baron Plumb, DL and Fellow of CARAS very sadly passed away on the 15 April 2022. He was a Gentleman, a British politician and farmer who went into politics as a leader of the NFU. He later became active in the Conservative Party and was elected as an MEP and was President of the European Parliament from 1987 to 1989, the only Briton to hold the post.
