2025 CARAS Agricultural and Rural Research Scholarship Report – Improving Agri-tech’s Adoption in UK Agriculture

This report forms part of the Council for Awards of the Royal Agricultural Societies Agricultural and Rural Research Scholarship programme and explores the barriers to, and opportunities for, increasing the adoption of agricultural technologies across UK farming, with recommendations aimed at farmers, technology developers, researchers, policymakers, and the wider agricultural industry.

The Chairman of CARAS UK, Meurig James, and the Council extend their warmest congratulations to the following Fellows and Associates who have been recognised in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours for their outstanding contributions to agriculture, rural communities, and public service.
