A Workshop, arranged by the English Panel in conjunction with the Worshipful Company of Farmers, was held at the Farmers & Fletchers Hall in London on Monday 5th September 2017. Details of the workshop and summaries are available to view below.

FRAgS Seminar Workshop Summaries

Chaired by Maurice Bichard FRAgS  the workshop brought together the key players in the British livestock industry to discuss the prospects for this important farming sector. Papers in the morning were presented on: Animal Welfare and Environmental policies for the key sectors of Dairy, Pigs and Poultry. The perspectives of Producers, consumers and the Government were included.

Following lunch, Prof. David Leaver FRAgS chaired a general discussion. Most participants in the event were Associates and Fellows of the Royal Agricultural Societies. A clear demonstration of the expertise within the membership of our organisation.
